Aliança Navegação e Logística Launch the Email-based Track and Trace Service
The purpose is facilitating the daily operations of customers that want to track the cargo transported by the ship-owners, without accessing the company web site
To perform the tracking, is necessary to send an email to track@ham.alianca.com.br with the container, B/L or booking number, separated by commas in the Subject field. In a matter of minutes, the customer gets in a PDF file information on the cargo's location.
Recent research with customers shows that most of them would rather request information via email than accessing the company's web site. "That's why we now offer both options. Our goal is enabling the access to cargo data as the customer deems more convenient and quicker," said Julian Thomas, director at Aliança Navegação e Logística.
