Barwil has announced the opening of a new office in Callao, Peru. The new Barwil Peru office marks Barwil's efforts to provide a network of services to customers operating on the western coast of South America. The Callao office will provide both port & marine services and logistics & freight services in Peru.

In the first stage Barwil Peru will cover the ports in Peru through subagents. The ports (piers) covered (from north to south) are:

Paita - Salaverry - Chimbote - Callao - San Martin/Pisco - Matarani and Ilo

The Ports (buoys) covered from North to South are:

Talara - Bayovar - Chicama - Eten - Pacasmayo - Punta Lobitos - Supe - Huacho - Chancay - Conchan and Oquendo

Last June current year, the Company opened a new area office in Santiago, Chile. At that time, Mr. Rune Andreassen, Barwil's Senior Vice-President Americas declared "Establishing a presence on the west coast of South America is a natural growth opportunity for Barwil. Our expansion efforts in the region are in response to customer demand and we welcome the opportunity to establish ourselves in a new area."
