The Hamburg Süd Group will restructure its Europe - South America East Coast Services. According the Company, due to the increasing north and southbound cargo volumes combined to ports and terminals working at full capacity, the following schedule changes became necessary:

Sling1 - River Plate Service New Rotation:

Southampton - Rotterdam - Hamburg - Antwerp - Le Havre
Suape SB - Sepetiba SB - Santos SB - Buenos Aires - Santos NB

Sling2 - Brazil Express Service:

Rotterdam - Hamburg - Antwerp - Le Havre
Santos SB - Paranaguá - Itajaí - Santos NB - Sepetiba - Suape

Sling 3 remains unchanged:

Lisbon NB - Rotterdam - Tilbury - Bremerhaven - Lisbon SB
Rio Grande - Itajaí - Santos - Salvador

The main changes comprises the inclusion of a southbound call at Santos with the Sling2, which will provide faster transit-times for the growing Brazilian import volumes to its main port; Concentrate the Santa Catarina state's logistic activities at Itajaí, offering 2 weekly sailings and increased tonnage and reefer capacity.

Uruguayan import and exports will be served by the extensive Aliança Mercosur/Cabotage Services.

First sailings with new rotation are:

Sling 1 - Aliança Brasil 80 - ETA Buenos Aires October 9th
Sling 2 - Aliança São Paulo 15 - ETA Paranaguá October 9th
