The German container shipping company SENATOR LINES via a direct interface is connected with the US logistic group "Expeditors".

A test phase with selected offices in Europe and Asia now has been completed with the successful installation of direct data transmission. This allows all worldwide Expeditor's offices direct input of their Bill of Lading instructions into the New Information System of the Bremen based container carrier.

"In the scope of our company's quality policy we have committed ourselves to offer to our customers efficient and most modern online-services," explained CEO Hans-Hermann Mohr.

"Particularly to our high-volume customers the direct interface alongside the neutral web-portal and the continuously advanced SENATOR LINES website are of great importance "

Together with the IT- enterprise "Cargosoft" in Bremen, SENATOR LINES developed a direct interface which allows the paperless data transfer between the carrier and all users of the respective Cargosoft module when booking containers from SENATOR LINES:

Inputs into the specially designed template are fed via the CargoSoft server into SENATOR LINES' New Information System directly after passing the security check successfully with no subsequent transfer barriers or
potential sources of error.
