Germany's Business Traveller magazine has named SWISS Best Airline to North & South America for the second year running in its 2004 Business Traveller Awards. The Swiss-based carrier also won first place in the awards' "Ground
Personnel" category for the Germany & Europe region. SWISS is delighted to have earned such further recognition from German-based frequent flyers through these prestigious annual awards.

Over 3 000 respondents took part in Business Traveller magazine's annual reader poll in autumn 2003. The publication's readers voted SWISS best carrier to North & South America both overall and in the individual "Ground Personnel", "Inflight Personnel" and "Food & Drink" categories.

Switzerland's national airline also earned top honours in the "Ground
Personnel" category for the Germany & Europe region.

The awards were presented at Frankfurt's Arabella Sheraton Hotel.Daniel Weder, SWISS Executive Vice President Marketing & Services, accepted the honours before a sizeable audience.

The German-based frequent flyers who read Business Traveller are invited to cast their votes every year on their personal experience of airlines they have used.
