FedEx Express will increase list rates an average of 2.5 percent for shipments within the U.S. and for U.S. export shipments. FedEx Ground rates will increase an average of 1.9 percent.

In addition, the fuel surcharge for both U.S. and international FedEx Ground shipments will be discontinued effective Jan. 5, 2004. The fuel surcharge will remain in effect for all FedEx Express shipments.

Other rates changes becoming effective Jan. 5 and Jan. 26, 2004 related to certain delivery area surcharges, surcharges for residential delivery and others basically domestic in USA will be implemented; information and list rates are available on fedex.com.
