Senator Lines will start offering their shipping liner-services between Northern Europe and South America through a new co-operation with MSC - Mediterranean Shipping Company.
Starting from in the middle of December the Bremen (Germany) based shipping company will offer its services between Northern Europe and South America through Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC, based in Geneva / Switzerland) vessels. Senator Lines will charter Slots from MSC.
"We want to further develop our position and activities in the South America-Services", Senator Lines' Director of Marketing Wilfried Seifert explained. He evaluated the co-operation with MSC as "stable basis for further development". Firstly services to Argentina will be upgraded by the reintroduction of weekly sailings to Argentina. Sailing frequency and transit times to and of the most important ports of Brazil are invariably competitive, Seifert said.
With weekly departures to Argentina Senator Lines corresponds to the risen requirements of the market according to the company's data. Particularly in Argentina there are positive economic changes, Seifert analyses. After years of recession the country's economy would recover again.
The complete sailing schedule covers Tilbury (GB), Hamburg, Bremerhaven (D), Rotterdam (NL), Antwerp (B), Le Havre (F), Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Paranagua, Itajai, Rio Grande (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Montevideo (Uruguay).
