Following it's announcement about the implementation of their new service to the West Coast of South America (See Transportando News 18/03/02), Evergreen has announced that it has appointed three new agents in South America.They are:

- Greenandes Ecuador SA in Ecuador

- Greenandes Peru SAC in Peru

- Green Andes Chile SA in Chile

These appointments are linked to the launch of Evergreen's new PWS service, the first sailing of which will take place in May. The PWS service links Evergreen's Caribbean hub port, the Colon Container Terminal (CCT) at Coco Solo in Panama, with the South American West Coast ports of Buenaventura (Colombia), Guayaquil (Ecuador), Callao (Peru) and Iquique and Valparaiso (Chile).

At CCT, connections are provided with Evergreen's services to and from Europe, North America and Asia.

Evergreen is using four vessels to maintain this weekly service:

Uni-Forever

Uni-Fortune
