UNITED AIRLINES Launches Flights from Washington to Brazil and Argentina

United Airlines informed it will launch nonstop scheduled airline service between Washington's Dulles International Airport and both Buenos Aires, Argentina and Sao Paulo, Brazil. The implementation of this new service, in such difficult times the area is suffering, shows the firm commitment from United Airlines towards Argentina and Brazil, contrary to the recent experience with DELTA AIRLINES who announced the withdrawal of their services to and from Atlanta.

The new international flying will make it easier to get to Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo from points served by United and its United Express partner along the East Coast and from the Midwest. Both flights will be operated in Boeing 767-300 aircraft configured with 10 seats in United First, 38 seats in United Business and 158 seats in United Economy.

United Flight 847 will depart Washington Dulles at 9:35 p.m. nightly and arrive in Buenos Aires at 10:15 a.m. the following morning. The return trip, Flight 846, will depart from Buenos Aires at 10:15 p.m. and arrive in Washington at 7:05 a.m. the following morning.

United Flight 861 will depart from Washington Dulles nightly at 9:30 p.m. and arrive in Sao Paulo at 9:25 a.m. the following morning. United Flight 860 will depart from Sao Paulo at 10:55 p.m. and arrive in Washington at 7 a.m. the following morning. (Due to daylight savings time differences between the United States and Brazil between Nov. 3 and Feb. 15, Flight 861 will arrive one hour later at 10:25 a.m., and Flight 860 will depart one hour later at 11:55 p.m.)

United operates about 1,900 flights a day on a route network that spans the globe.
