TMM Lines Launched a new service between North of Europe - Africa and East
Coast of South America Ports.
TMM Lines have launched a new service between Europe, West Africa and East Coast South America, sailing once every ten days, focused in offer their expertise in the movement of temperature controlled cargo to Brazilian exporters shipping to Northern Europe.
The Europe-Africa-Americas service is operated by four 1100 TEU ships. The full port rotation is: Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Le Havre, Lisbon, Las Palmas, Dakar, Abidjan, Santos, Paranagua, Itajai, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, Rotterdam.
"The transit time to Rotterdam - at just 10 days - is one of the fastest available. We also have a large modern fleet of reefers. This makes our service particularly attractive to companies exporting fruit or shrimps, for example," says Juan Manuel Gonzalez, Senior Vice President, TMM Lines.
"We have designed the port rotation to appeal to a wide variety of customers in a number of different markets. For example, we offer the very fast transit time of just seven days from Le Havre to Dakar in West Africa." From Dakar and Abidjan, we can offer fast connections to west and southern Africa for the first time.
The service calls at Lisbon and provides Portuguese shippers with a direct link to their traditional markets of Las Palmas, West Africa and Brazil.
